Daniel Moxley is the founder and managing attorney of Moxley Law, LLC. He looks forward to providing quality legal services to you.
At the ripe old age of 14, Daniel decided he wanted to become a lawyer. He graduated high school at the age of 16 and obtained a bachelor's degree at the age of 19. After college, he interned with a local law firm, pursued a paralegal certification from one of the nation's most prestigious universities, then worked as a paralegal for a bustling litigation practice. In 2017, he entered law school on academic scholarship.
During the first summer break of law school, Daniel had the honor to work in Africa, consulting with the prosecutor's office in Uganda. His work focused on battling crimes against women and children, and his writings were included in prosecutor training pamphlets published and distributed throughout Uganda. Daniel returned to the United States to finish law school, eventually receiving additional scholarships and awards, including the award for the highest grade in his law school Drafting Contracts class.
After law school, Daniel took and passed the bar examination. He accepted a position in Alaska and moved to Anchorage late in 2020. He worked in private practice until January 2022, handling a variety of cases. His broad practice experience includes criminal defense, real estate transactions, family law matters, and estate planning, among other things.
In January 2022, Daniel was appointed Assistant Attorney General for the State of Alaska. For the next three years, he handled a caseload of workers' compensation matters.
He now brings these years of expertise and understanding of the workers' compensation system, as well as his practice experience in a variety of types of law, to private practice. Daniel looks forward to handling your case, whether it is a workers' compensation matter, a contract law issue, or some other type of case, in a way that provides you the legal services you need.
Outside of his daily practice of law, Daniel enjoys providing pro bono legal services in support of causes he deeply cares about. He currently consults for a couple of non-profit organizations, and is a volunteer for some Alaska organizations that provide pro bono legal advice and representation to victims of domestic violence. Daniel also enjoys trying out the adventures and experiences that Alaska has to offer.
